The 2021 Estevan United Way Telethon is quickly coming up on October 15 and 16. The event will be an added chance for the residents of Southeast Saskatchewan to come together and once again raise some much-needed funds for the many member agencies that benefit each year.

This Thursday and Friday, the Great Canadian Oil Change in Estevan will be hosting their annual Oil-A-Thon in support of the Telethon and once again people will have an opportunity to win some fantastic prizes from businesses around the community while also having $10 from their oil change go to the United Way. “With the United Way, we're so thankful to David and Melanie Dzeryk, for you know, thinking of this idea themselves and thinking of a way to donate to the United Way Telethon”. Says 2021 Estevan United Way President Danny Ewan. “So, we're pretty excited about this”.

In years past the Oil-A-Thon was a one-day event but with it now being held over two days, people will have more flexibility on when they can stop by. Danny adds, “We really encourage all of Estevan and surrounding area, even if you got an oil change recently, it never hurts to get a new one. So head on down there because $10 from every oil change, Thursday and Friday is going towards the United Way”.

You can find out more details on the prizes and other pertinent information on the Great Canadian Oil Change’s Oil-A-Thon in the full interview with Danny Ewan below.
