Estevan police have confirmed that a vehicle ran into a section of a strip mall off Kensington Avenue Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened around 2 p.m.

Estevan police chief Rich Lowen confirmed that a single vehicle was involved in the crash and it may have been caused by a medical incident with the driver.

The driver was being assessed for injuries following the accident.

The front door of the building was smashed through with glass all over the sidewalk. The section of the mall that was hit appeared to be vacant.

The strip mall includes RE/MAX Blue Chip Realty, Fire & Flower Cannabis, Subway, Taco Time, and Prairie Donair. It is across from Humpty's Family Restaurant.
