Estevan Early Years Resource Center received a donation from the Estevan Strippers Hockey Club which will help them expand programming in the new year.

"This donation means so much to us," said Misty Pennington, the director of programs and community engagement at the resource center.

The new programming will be available for children ages 6 to 11 and will range from baking to yoga said Pennington.

"We're just trying to give that age group some different experiences for free to try, so this money is going to go directly to that program."

Champion Technologies donated a Winnipeg Jets package that included a one-night accommodation and tickets to the NHL game for the Estevan Strippers silent auction last year.

The package went for $1,100 and now that money has been donated to Estevan Early Years Resource Center.
