Light snow falling early Tuesday morning is affecting travel on highways in southeast Saskatchewan.

The province's Highway Hotline lists Highways 39, 47, and 18 in the Estevan area as being in winter driving condition.

The Hotline cites swirling snow, loose snow, and icy and slippery sections.

Environment Canada says it will be breezy - with gusts reaching about 50 kph - Tuesday afternoon, following the morning snow. Flurries are expected to return overnight.
