Estevan Bruins captain Keagon Little has been named to the RBC Community Ambassador team for his commitment to the community and leadership on and off the ice.

The 20-year-old centre is in his fourth season with the Bruins. He helped the club claim the 2021-22 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Championship.

An ambassador is selected from each of the 12 teams in the SJHL. Fans will vote on the SJHL website to determine who will receive the RBC Community Award at the end of the regular season.

Defenceman Aleksa Babic was last season's Bruins' ambassador. Clay Sleeva - who was with the Yorkton Terriers but is now a Melfort Mustang - won last season's award, and was able to donate $2,500 to Canora Composite High School.

Little will be recognized during the January 26 RBC Game Night when the Bruins host the Humboldt Broncos.

The Wymark, Sask. product has five goals and 24 assists in 26 games this season.

The Bruins' next game is against the Red Wings in Weyburn on January 5.
