Mark Rumsey had two goals and two assists, including the game winner in the third period, to help lead the Estevan Bruins to a 4-1 win over the Battlefords North Stars Tuesday night.

Olivier Pouliot had a goal and an assist, while Boston Bilous made 33 saves to pick up his seventh win of the year.

The Bruins won the special teams battle, scoring twice on the powerplay and killing off a pair of penalties.

Kian Calder also had his first fight as an Estevan Bruin.

"We battled in the corner for a bit and I figured why not now, the boys could use a jump," Calder said after the game. "So I asked him to go, and we went. It was a good fight."

Calder was also named Defenseman of the Week in the SJHL.

"I consider myself a two-way defenceman. The honour is very nice, but it's a team game. I don't win that award by myself," he said.

Estevan improves to 8-3-0-1 and will take on the Kindersley Klippers tonight in Kindersley.
