The province confirmed 170 new cases of the COVID-19 virus in Saskatchewan on Monday.

Of these, only three are in Estevan's South East Sub Zone 4. There are now 86 active cases in the Estevan region.

In the entire South East Zone, there were eight new cases confirmed on Monday, and the active count is now at 225.

There are now 2,822 active cases in the province with 72,842 recoveries.

The seven-day average of daily new cases has also dropped to 259.

There were no new COVID-related deaths on Monday.
