First off... thank you for succumbing to my clickbait title. Secondly welcome to your chance to discover some more great Saskatchewan talent!

This week I had the chance to speak with Regina-based rock band Coherency, and through talking to three of the members I really got an appreciation for what the group is. As they put, a band of engineers, dads, family men, and beer league hockey players that like to make music just for the hell of it! The group also has an interesting link to Estevan with bass player Justin Mrazek being a former Estevan Bruin.

With the band's music, they have a lot going. Their song Bleed was used by the Regina Pats for a season, their newest single Automation features a really fun music video, that highlights how ridiculous bands can be even when they are putting on a serious facade, but altogether the group is quite consistent with their musicianship and lyrics.

In the interview, we discussed their recently released album Zero Sum, I got the lowdown on Justin's year with the Bruins, and we also talked about the parallels of comradery in sports compared to being in a band.
