A new exhibit has made it's home at the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum for the month of July and August.

The featured artwork contains a series of lines with bright, vivid colours used to represent the people and places in Saskatchewan completed by artist, Joan Rankin out of Moose Jaw.

Cheryl Andrist, director Curator of the art gallery, explains that the titles of the artwork can help bring light to the representation of the lines, however abstract art allows personal interpretation.

The exhibit is titled, "A Persistent Image" and can be viewed anytime throughout the summer.
