The local baseball season resumed Monday night with several games across the southeast.

In the opening games of the 2008 Saskota Baseball season, the Estevan Tower Wolves beat the Carnduff Astros 10 to 2, the Carlyle Cardinals defeated the Redvers A's 10 to 3, it was the Kenosee Cubs over the Lampman Midgets 10 to 7, and the Wawota Pats shut-out the Lampman Pirates 5-0. Tuesday night, the Lampman Midgets host the Carlyle Midgets at 6:30pm


Elsewhere, the KPC Blazers beat the Regina Mets 7 to 3, the TS&M Pee Wee Triple A Tornados lost 7 to 6 to Weyburn, and in Mosquito House Ball, Dart Services defeated Carnduff Two 17 to 16.
