Agriculture should be a key priority for candidates in the upcoming provincial election, according to the Agriculture Producers Association of Saskatchewan.

President Glen Blakely says agriculture has a major impact on the economy, and that needs to be taken into account.

Statistics show that agriculture accounts for 1 in every 4 jobs in the province.

APAS is holding an agriculture forum for candidates in Saskatoon on October 23rd at 1:00pm at Prairieland Exhibition Park.
