It’s developed into the best rivalry in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and the Estevan Bruins and Flin Flon Bombers authored another chapter Saturday night at Affinity Place.

Trailing 5-2 after just a period, the Bruins rallied to tie the game at 6-6 in the dying minutes of the third period to force overtime.

After Estevan’s Keagon Little was stopped on a breakaway, the Bombers came down and scored the winner in the dying seconds of overtime with Cole Duperreault setting up Zach Cain.

The Bruins had trouble shutting down Flin Flon’s top line, with Alexi Sylvestre, Jacob Vockler, and Duperreault all over the score sheet.

Estevan did get three of four points on the weekend and remain in sixth spot in the SJHL standings.
