The Estevan Bruins 10-game post-season winning streak is over.

The Bruins were beaten 4-3 Tuesday night by the Flin Flon Bombers in game 3 of the Canalta Cup Finals at the Whitney Forum, in what will surely go down as an instant classic among fans who witnessed it.

A see-saw, momentum-filled game culminated in the final minute when Bomber forward Brett Wieschorster was able to jam the puck past Bruins goaltender Boston Bilous for the game winner with just 58 seconds left, breaking a 3-3 deadlock and sending the home fans into a frenzy.

Estevan got goals from Mark Rumsey, Oliver Pouliot, and Kade Runke, but it wasn't enough to hold off a Flin Flon team that played inspired hockey in front of their fans.

The Bruins now lead the best-of-7 series two games to one heading into a monumental game 4 Wednesday night.

Puck drop is 6:30 Saskatchewan time from the Whitney Forum.
