The Estevan Bruins continue to tinker with their roster in the early stages of the season, as the team announced a pair of minor moves on Monday.

The Bruins have traded defenceman Owen Simmons to the Jamestown Rebels of the NAHL in exchange for a Player Development Fee (PDF).

Simmons had appeared in four games with Estevan this season, registering two assists.

The Bruins also acquired forward prospect Brady Wilson from the Melfort Mustangs in exchange for goaltending prospect James Venne. Wilson currently plays for the AAA Moose Jaw Warriors and will be eligible to join the Bruins next season.

The Bruins now have 23 players on their active roster.
