A vibrant parade provided a jolt in Estevan Thursday afternoon as the revamped Energy City Ex kicked off.

The four-day event includes the KCRA rodeo for the first time in over 20 years.

There are two days of rodeo - with action happening Saturday evening at the Exhibition Grounds, and Sunday afternoon. 

There's a kids' rodeo Friday night.

The midway is open throughout the four days, along with the beer gardens, and there's a cabaret Saturday night.
