Carnduff RCMP has made multiple arrests following a report of a break-and-enter in the southeast.

On January 8, 2024, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Carnduff RCMP received the report which pointed to a residence in the RM of Mount Pleasant.

An investigation determined that a building on the property was broken into and rummaged through. It is unknown what items were stolen.

As a result of continued investigation, two adult males and one adult female were located and arrested on the property.

Officers located and seized a number of break-in instruments including a handheld thermal camera, power tools, pipe cutters, hand saws, sledgehammers, two-way handheld radios, and valve shut-off tools. Officers also located and seized multiple flashlights, a jackknife, a hunting knife, a multitool, masks, and drug paraphernalia.

As a result of further investigation, 43-year-old John “Jason” Berger from Glen Ewen, 59-year-old Randolf Godon from Oxbow, and 36-year-old Lisa Desaulniers from Glen Ewen were each charged with one count of breaking and entering.

John “Jason” Berger was also charged with:

  • one count of possessing break-in instruments
  • one count of resisting/obstructing a peace officer

Randolf Godon was also charged with:

  • one count of possessing break-in instruments
  • one count of resisting/obstructing a peace officer
  • one count of being disguised with intent to commit offense

John “Jason” Berger and Randolf Godon were remanded into custody until their next appearance in Estevan Provincial Court on January 15, 2024.

Lisa Desaulniers will also appear in Estevan Provincial Court on January 15, 2024.
