The Estevan Police Service laid charges on a man who crashed his vehicle into numerous objects about a month ago and had to be transported to the hospital.

A 38-year-old man from Argyle has been charged with impaired driving and mischief.

The initial police report said a vehicle was travelling southbound on October 8 in north-central Estevan (by the 7-Eleven), hit a tree, crossed a boulevard before entering an intersection, ran into a fence, and hit another tree on the opposite side of the same intersection.

The vehicle was heavily damaged, and towed from the scene.

EPS Acting Sgt. Don Dechief said even though the impaired driving and mischief charges have been laid, police are still investigating the incident.

Dechief also said they received a report of an impaired driver on Monday night in northeast Estevan. Police spotted the vehicle shortly after, and charged a 30-year-old Estevan woman with impaired driving.
