It's an important day for parents looking to their kids involved in fall and winter activities in Estevan.

City Wide Registration runs at Affinity Place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

City Program Manager Erin Wilson said it's a positive feeling with more activities on the horizon.

"It's nice to feel a bit of energy; a buzz in the air of what to stay busy and active with, and how it brings the community together when we have those sports and culture activities to get out of the house and see some friendly faces."

Ten organizations are scheduled to be set up along the walking track, featuring a variety of activities such as skating, broomball, taekwondo, lacrosse, and youth bowling.

"We chose [the walking track) so that it does provide a lot of space to make sure everyone does feel comfortable," said Wilson.

She added that if people aren't able to make it because of other commitments or their comfort level, they can reach out to the City for contact information for all the organizations.

A pop-up vaccination station will be at the facility from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
