The pool at Churchill Park was jam packed with kids Monday as the mercury rose to a sweltering 33 degrees Celsius in Estevan.
The city confirmed Monday that the pool has officially re-opened following construction delays caused by the wet weather in the southeast during the spring and summer months.
City crews had been working to replace the old pool.
"That's been a work in progress, but they did a great job," said Estevan Mayor Roy Ludwig. "So we're asking everyone in that area, and for that matter all over town, come have a look and I'm sure they'll enjoy it.
