Two nights after scoring the overtime winner to extend the under-18 AA Estevan Apex Bruins' playoff run, Spencer Copeland buried two more goals as Estevan beat the visiting Swift Current Broncos 5-3 Wednesday, advancing to the South Sask Division Finals.

Copeland opened the scoring in the first period and netted what proved to be the game-winner on the power play midway through the second.

His six goals are the second most on the Bruins, after teammate Carter Beck. Beck potted his seventh in Wednesday's Game 5 win.

Jordan Marcotte and Kobe Wotta scored the other Estevan goals.

Ty Fehrenback made 17 saves for the Bruins, improving to 5-1-0 during the postseason.

It was the first time a team won a game on home ice during the series. Estevan outshot Swift Current 33-20, scored three times on seven powerplay chances, and killed off seven of eight Broncos power plays.

Estevan, as the top seed in the South Sask, will have home-ice advantage against the second-seed Regina Vics in the next round. The schedule for the five-game series has yet to be released (as of publication).

The Warman Wildcats and Saskatoon Riverkings will begin their Centre 4 Final on Friday.
