COVID cases dropped yesterday in Saskatchewan, and even in the southeast new cases are lowering significantly.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority reported a total of 271 new cases of COVID-19 in the province yesterday.

4,450 cases are being considered active after 478 recoveries.

There is one new hospitalization, setting that number to 348, and two more deaths.

The current seven-day average of cases is 487.

In the South East, there are only three new cases, and recoveries are at 31, making the active case number 308.

In Estevan's South East Sub-Zone 4, there is one new case with the current active case count at 128.
