The Canadian Wheat Board is now using podcasts to communicate with farmers.

Richard Martin, the Board's Manager of E-Communication and E-Marketing, says it was a logical step with farmers making more use of technology.

Podcasts are audio clips that can be downloaded from the internet and listened to on a computer or transferred to an MP3 player.

Martin says the CWB's podcasts will be five to ten minutes long and will provide information that farmers may not be able to get elsewhere.
