The Saskatchewan RCMP say a suspect is dead following a dangerous person alert northwest of Saskatoon.

The Mounties said a man's body was found inside a home in Langham, Saskatchewan. The home had been on fire earlier.

Although his identity cannot yet be confirmed, RCMP said they believe it is Justin Heimbecker.

An early morning shooting in Langham had left one person dead.
