Thick fog is greeting Estevan residents for the start of another day.

Just like Wednesday, Environment Canada has a fog advisory in place Thursday morning.

There is reduced visibility on highways again Thursday morning.

"If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility," said the Environment Canada fog advisory. "If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop."

The excess moisture in the air is also capable of leading to damaged power lines. The relative humidity has been hovering around 85 per cent for the past 24 hours (as of 5 a.m. Thursday).

Environment Canada calls for the fog to lift around noon, but redevelop again at night.
