The Big 6 Finals begin tonight in Midale.  The Mustangs are looking to win their 3rd straight title, something that's only been done 4 times in the league's history and the last time was 1998 - 2001 when the Carlyle Cougars accomplished the feat.  They will have to get past the Bienfait Coalers to it.  The Coalers have had some extra time off, sweeping the first two series of the playoffs against Arcola/Kisbey Combines and then Carlyle in the semi finals.  Their last game was Wednesday March 10th.  Coach Tom Copeland said the extra time off has been good to get some players back from injury.

The Mustangs on the other hand have been busy.  They swept Carnduff in February to begin the playoffs but then a SHA Senior A Provincial final series with the Balgonie Bisons and a 5 game series with the Redvers Rockets that ended on Sunday has had the team play 7 games in 10 days. Tonight's game 1 starts at 8pm.
