The Estevan Police Service suspended two licenses Tuesday after the drivers showed signs of impairment.

Police reported checking a vehicle during the night, and the driver showed signs of impairment leading to a 21-day suspension and a seven-day vehicle seizure.

EPS said the other license suspension came from a traffic stop on Kensington Avenue. The 22-year-old female driver was found to be impaired by an intoxicant. Her license was suspended for 72 hours and the vehicle was seized.

Police arrested an intoxicated male who was sleeping in a local restaurant. He was kept in custody overnight before being released Wednesday morning.

EPS searched a residence as a 29-year-old woman was on conditions. Narcotics were located, and the woman was arrested for breaching her conditions and held overnight, before a morning release.

Another call was for a report of a domestic disturbance. Police spoke with both people and got no indication that anything physical took place. One person left voluntarily, and no other action was needed.

The final Tuesday call reported by EPS was for a dispute at a residence in the city's north end. Police mediated the situation and offered services for assistance.
