Estevan Police Service Const. Danielle Stephany reported Monday morning that one of the four people arrested in the drug busts last week remained in custody over the weekend. That suspect is due in court Monday morning.

The other three people who were arrested have been released.

Police also reported that one of the search warrants was executed on the 400 block of 3rd Street, while the other happened on the 400 block of Willow Park Greens.

The Estevan Police Service announced that four adults were arrested as a result of an investigation into drug trafficking.

Members of the EPS and the Joint Tactical Support Team, which comprises officers from Estevan and Weyburn, executed search warrants in two residential neighbourhoods in Estevan on Thursday and Friday.

Police said the investigation is ongoing, and more information will be provided when appropriate.
