The Estevan Police Service laid criminal charges pertaining to some of the 49 calls of service they had over the weekend. And several other matters remain under investigation.

Police received a report of a stolen car. It's a 2013 black Dodge Dart with license plate 914MIB.

Police were called to multiple businesses in town over the weekend to deal with an intoxicated man. The same man was arrested three times for public intoxication and lodged in cells on all three nights of the weekend. Police charged the 34-year-old Saddle Lake man under the Alcohol Gaming and Regulations Act for public intoxication.

A pair of vehicles were struck by another vehicle in a parking lot. Police received two reports of failing to remain at the scene, and looking into the matter.

A 23-year-old man from Oxbow was arrested and charged with impaired driving.

A 48-year-old man was charged with assault and released on conditions of no contact.

A 32-year-old Estevan man was charged with assault, but had not been arrested by the time the police issued their summary of weekend calls.

A search of a residence where the homeowner was on conditions for outstanding charges led to the 37-year-old woman being charged with possession of meth and breaching her release conditions.

Police are investigating a fraud and impersonation matter after fraudulently-obtained personal documentation was used to obtain credit. Police reminded the public to have their mail forwarded with Canada Post when they move, so their personal information doesn't land in the wrong hands.

And police are also investigating a report of mischief to property regarding a local business.
