The Estevan Arts Council has launched early-bird ticket sales for its highly anticipated 2024/2025 concert series, offering music enthusiasts a chance to secure their seats at a discounted rate.

Until July 31, 2024, patrons can purchase Package A for $175, which includes tickets to seven concerts, featuring the special Barra McNeils Family Christmas Concert. Alternatively, Package B is available for $150, covering six concerts, excluding the Christmas event.

Wilma Mantei, president of the Estevan Arts Council, emphasized the value of the early-bird offer during a recent interview. “It’s a steal of a deal,” Mantei said. “For just $25 per concert, you’re getting a package that includes a diverse lineup of artists and a special Christmas concert.”

The regular pricing, effective after July 31, will see tickets for the full seven-concert package (Package C) increase to $210, and the six-concert package (Package D) to $180. Single tickets will be available in advance for $35 at Henders, with door prices set at $40.

In an effort to promote cultural experiences for youth, the council is also offering a special rate for students at $10 per ticket, and for parents accompanying them, tickets are $15.

“The first artist to grace our stage will be the Wardens, actual wardens from the Rocky Mountains, sharing their stories through song,” Mantei shared. Following the Wardens, the lineup includes Ryan McMahon, an award-winning singer-songwriter, and the Barra McNeils, known for their Celtic roots and festive performances.

The concert series will continue into the new year with performances by the Prairie Sons, Susan Aglukark, Every Brilliant Thing, and Jeff Newman.
