Estevan Fire and Rescue (EFR) responded to several calls last week, including motor vehicle collisions and cooking fires.

On May 20, EFR was requested by Estevan Police Service (EPS) to attend to a small spill on the west side of the city. A small container had fallen from a vehicle and was leaking. Crews responded and cleaned up without incident.

Later that day, EFR was dispatched to a residential fire alarm in the south area of the city. Crews responded and determined it was a cooking-related incident. EFR assistance was not required.

On May 22, EFR responded to a two-vehicle collision north of the city. Crews assisted EPS and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) on the scene. No entrapment or injuries were reported from the incident.

The following day, crews were dispatched to a residential fire in the south area of the city. It was determined to be a cooking-related incident, and no further assistance was required.

On May 25, EFR was dispatched to a two-vehicle collision in the north area of the city. Crews responded and assisted; no entrapment or injuries were reported from the incident.

Later that day, crews were dispatched to an elevator rescue in the southeast area of the city. Crews responded and quickly removed several occupants from the elevator. No injuries were reported from the incident.
