A pair of calls from the public led to penalties for two people in Estevan in recent days.

Estevan Police Service Cst. Dave Sinclair said they were called Sunday evening to a residence to a report of an intoxicated person.

"They found a 17-year-old male who was under the influence of drugs," said Sinclair. "He was arrested for breach of a probation order."

The youth is set to appear in court on Wednesday.

Sinclair also said they were called to the Estevan Comprehensive School parking lot for a driver that was stunting.

The driver was given a ticket for $150. Sinclair added that the fine also brings demerit points from SGI and tarnishes a driver's abstract.
