The Estevan Police Service responded to a number of calls recently, with a pair having to do with traffic around the city.

A motor vehicle accident was attended to by police,  at the intersection of King Street and Spruce Drive.

No injuries were reported after the fact by EMS, both of the vehicles had to be towed due to damage and the collision is still under investigation

Police also received a Report Impaired Driver (RID) complaint, for a speeding vehicle in town.

That was located later on as it was traveling at 140 km/h in a 100 km/h zone.

The driver was stopped and received a suspended driver's license ticket for consumption of THC, a speeding ticket, and the vehicle was impounded.

In non-car-related events, officers responded to a noise complaint, and the owner of the property received a warning concerning the bylaw.
