As Spring approaches, the Estevan Public Library (EPL) has released its 2023 Spring Program Guide, complete with exciting events for all ages.

Starting with a change in hours, the library will remain open for an extra half hour from Monday to Thursday, from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm, while Friday to Sunday hours remain the same.

Kicking off the month, EPL will host a mini-golf fundraiser from March 3 to 5. Branch Manager Jason Redshaw said, "We're working on some brand-new holes, including a glow-in-the-dark hole and water hazards at the library as well."

Midway through March, local Saskatchewan author H. Corinne Hewitt will visit the library to read her new children's book, "Papa's Chair," at 2 pm. Later that evening at 6:30 pm, she will give a talk about her "Abbington Pickets Series" of books for adults, delving into the world of her literature. Attendees will also have the opportunity to get their books signed by Hewitt."

Lastly, on March 31, EPL will host a pop-up music class with Paulina Hernik at 11 am. Redshaw explained, "She will be bringing a number of different instruments. It’s a great way for families, if you have some younger children, to get an idea how some of these instruments work and see if they would be interested in playing in the future"

Don't miss out on these exciting events and more at the Estevan Public Library this March!
