Farming accident leads to power outage in the southeast

SaskPower workers spent a couple of hours making repairs after a farming accident in the southeast part of the province.

The Crown corporation tweeted at 4:01 p.m. that crews were "working to repair damage caused by a farming accident but are unable to provide a restoration time for power in the rural area north of Macoun, northeast of Midale, southwest of Stoughton, and surrounding rurals."

The utility gave one more update, at 6:10 p.m., which said the repairs were completed and the power was restored.

SaskPower is planning an outage from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday for the entire RM of Antler.
