Fraudulent activities are being reported daily throughout Saskatchewan ranging from the loss of small dollar amounts to large sums.

March was named Fraud Prevention Month to educate residents on how to avoid becoming a victim of fraud.

RCMP Staff Sergeant Stewart Kingdon with the Commercial Crime Unit explains that one of the key prevention mechanisms to avoid becoming a victim is to use caution when dealing with all business and personal transactions and remember that when something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
