The Estevan Leisure Centre is hosting a free admission Brickery this Saturday.

The Saskatchewan Lego Users Group (S.L.U.G.) have created a gallery of intricate Lego creations. The event is in the Senior Center/Over 60’s Club, which is just down the hall from the Estevan Public Library.

S.L.U.G. was started in 2016, and like any art form, has given a fantastic creative outlet. Coordinators, Jillian Ursua and her husband Christopher, have found Legos a great way to spend quality time together.

“Several adult builders from various locations across Saskatchewan who are part of the Slug Group will be displaying their unique creations that are made from Lego on their own talent and through their own imagination. We have builds from multiple theme areas like pop culture or real life, town, vehicles, space; you name it," Jillian reports.

Jillian has created a display specifically for this event that replicates Kenosee Lake Summer Bible Camp, recreating the cabins, paintball, rock climbing, and more activities.

Saturday's Brickery runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Anyone over the age of 18 can join S.L.U.G. as they continue to prove that creativity and curiosity doesn’t grow up when you do.
