The youth of today are the future of tomorrow. Students in the southeast will get a chance to check out career and post-secondary options for their future when the Estevan Comprehensive School hosts its Career Fair tonight.

Over 40 booths will be on display at the school cafetorium featuring representatives from businesses and post-secondary schools.

"I think I am more excited for this career fair to take place just because the students haven't seen or experienced this," said ECS Guidance Counsellor Stacy Dutka. "Our Grade 12 students haven't been exposed to this at all and are not really even sure what to expect."

Post-secondary institutions will take up most of the booths. Attendees will include the University of Regina, University of Saskatchewan, University of Alberta, University of Calgary, University of British Columbia, Sask Polytech, and Minot State. They will supply information on tuition, requirements, and course outline handbooks that explain all of their programs.

Companies, including Golden West Broadcasting, will be in attendance to showcase opportunities for students looking to jump right into the workforce, or for those curious about life after post-secondary education.

The career fair will run from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
