Estevan police were busy on the west side of town over the weekend, responding to multiple reports.

That started with an impaired man that had been damaging property near a business located slightly outside of city limits.

The man was found by police and was arrested the 33-year-old man on charges of public intoxication and mischief.

He was scheduled to appear in front of a court Monday morning.

Also, on the same side of the city in Westview, police responded to a disturbance, and mediated a dispute between residents.

They also got called to a break-in in the same area.

A male had entered the home while the property owners were still inside, with the man leaving before the police arrived.

That matter is still under investigation.
