The Government of Canada and the Province of Saskatchewan announced 31 million dollars in joint funding for improvements in 97 communities in Southern Saskatchewan.Out of the 31 million dollars, 840,000 dollars will be going towards the Housing needs here in Estevan.
The funding will be through the economic action plan that has been created by both the federal and provincial governments, and will improve the quality of existing social housing for low-income seniors, single parent families and recent immigrants.
