The 15U AAA Southeast A's are off to a torrid start to their season with four more wins over the weekend.

The A's had 8-2 and 6-5 home wins over the Moose Jaw Canucks on Saturday before sinking the hosting Regina Pirates 12-4 and 4-2 on Sunday.

The A's are 6-0 to start the season in the Regina league.

The one game where Kade Phillips didn't have a home run, he dominated on the mound as the A's edged the Pirates 4-2 in the Queen City.

Phillips spun six and one-third innings of ball, allowing no earned runs (two unearned) on four hits. He struck out 14 and only walked one.

Leadoff hitter Tayson Dietze was 1 for 3 with two runs scored as the Pirates pitching limited the A's to four hits, walking six. 

Southeast A's @ Regina Pirates Sunday Game 1

The A's stayed hot to open Sunday's action with a 12-4 win over the Pirates in Regina.

Kade Phillips went 3 for 4 with his third home run of the weekend while driving in three and scoring twice. Fornwald, Mayer, and Brown also had two-hit games.

Nathan Yunick logged the win, tossing four innings of three-run ball. Only one run was earned. He allowed just one hit and walked five while striking out 10.

Axton Martin closed it out with three innings of one-run ball, giving up two hits, no walks, and striking out three.

Vs. Moose Jaw Canucks Saturday Game 2

The long ball was working for the A's in the second half of Saturday's doubleheader, as they beat the Canucks 6-5.

Kade Phillips went deep for his second time on the day. He drove in a pair and walked while going 1 for 2 in the contest.

Draven Naviaux also hit a home run in the win.

Tayson Dietze fired four frames of three-hit ball, giving up only an unearned run while striking out eight and walking two.

Vs. Moose Jaw Canucks Saturday Game 1

The A's paired a big offensive showing from Kade Phillips with strong pitching for an 8-2 win over the Canucks at Cactus Park in Estevan.

Phillips had a big weekend opener out of the three-spot in the A's lineup, going two for three with a home run, four runs batted in, and a pair of runs scored.

Sutter Baily threw five innings of one-run ball, striking out 12, while allowing six hits and walking nobody. And Jayden Kuchinka threw two innings, striking out four on three hits while allowing one unearned run.

Next Weekend

The A's are in Moose Jaw for another doubleheader with the Canucks on Saturday. Then they host the Regina White Sox in Alameda on Sunday.
