A 29-year-old woman and 44-year-old man spent the night behind bars after causing a scene outside an apartment building in central Estevan Monday night.
EPS Sgt. Tyler McMillen said they were dispatched around midnight and found the pair "making a ruckus" on the street.
Both the man and woman were charged with assault with a weapon and causing a disturbance.
The woman was also charged with two counts of committing mischief and breaching a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
"They'll be released later on this morning with conditions of no contact and a future court date," said McMillen.
McMillen did not disclose the nature of the weapon or weapons. He said the man's truck was damaged.
