I had the pleasure of sitting back and watching a few mountain goats in Banff National Park. This big fella found some fresh green grass right along the 1A and was not willing to share it with anyone. I witnessed him put the run on a couple smaller rams, which didn't take much of his time.

I was parked on an approach across the highway while photographing him. I was very surprised at how fast the motorists passed by, they didn't slow down much at all and were missing him by about 10 feet. I guess they're used to the animals, but it seemed very risky to me. When the bunting would start between two rams, they covered quite a bit of ground and could easily end up on the road right in the lane of traffic.
