One of my favorite times of the year for photography is spring. Trees and grass are turning green to add some color and babies are being born.

Once late May and June arrive you stand a good chance to find baby animals including, moose calves, fawns, bear cubs and many others. I love watching cubs play as mom just consumes the green grass or dandelions along the roadways. You have to stay in your vehicle and be safe, because if you get too close mom will let you know. Often, the cubs will wrestle and play and then decide to climb a nearby tree. Once they are in the tree, mom feels much more at ease and will move up and down the ditch. It's amazing how their communication works, she just makes a noise, and they respond accordingly.
