It doesn't happen very often when you roll up on an owl and have an opportunity to take its photo. I found this one on the road out to Woodlawn Regional Park Boundry Dam this past winter. For whatever reason it felt it needed to just stay on the yield signpost and watch me, watching it. I was ok with it as I took some very nice photos in about 1 minute.

My favorite part if this photo is the frost on its eyelids. I drove away a happy guy with a few great shots!
