Local Miners were honoured last night as part of a cultural dedication in Estevan. A large part of Estevan's culture is inherent in the resources and industries such as mining.

Several cultures also proudly displayed their ornamental and ethnic fashions down the runaway at Miners and Mosaic, last night at the Souris Valley Museum.

Denmark, Korea, Mexico and Jamaica are just a few of the countries who were featured in the show.

Cindy Doe, adorned in a tradition silk Kimono represented a culture that she has learned to cherish through two years and three summers spent teaching in Japan and commented that it was wonderful that so many cultures were able to be represented in Miners and Mosaic.

The evening also featured a hot dog supper along with live musical entertainment.
