Saskatchewan RCMP reported at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday that Karen Ireland was located deceased. 

Police say her next of kin have been notified, and expressed sympathy to her friends and family.

“The Saskatchewan RCMP is investigating in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service and preliminary indication is that no foul play is suspected in relation to Karen’s death,” said police in the release.


On November 23, at approximately 7:45 AM, Moosomin RCMP received a report of a missing 50-year-old woman, Karen Ireland.

Karen was last seen on Wright Road in Moosomin at approximately 7:40 AM on November 23.

Karen is described as approximately 5’2” and 145 lbs. She has brown eyes and medium-length brown hair that she often wears in a ponytail or a bun. 

She was last seen wearing a blue hospital gown and green pajama pants. She was not wearing shoes.

She may at times appear confused or agitated.

Karen is known to travel to Regina but her current whereabouts are unknown at this time.
