Moose Mountain Provincial Park is holding Canada Day celebrations again this year, with a full list of activities beginning today.

Park Administrative Supervisor Ainsley Sauder talks about some of the events people can look forward to at the park.

"We've got a fun-filled day of activities and sweet treats. We're handing out cupcakes at 11 and the interpreters have some games and activities going on throughout the day, we have a cool-down zone with bubbles, games, and face painting."

"There's other events taking place over the Canada Day weekend, including fairy house making, geocaching, and a craft corner, so kind of got things going on all weekend."

That includes a few other events happening the following day of the weekend.

"We do have a pop-up shop happening in our park on Sunday that's going to be selling like watercraft equipment, life jackets, tubes, wakeboards, that kind of thing. We also have the big Moose baseball tournament going on in the park, so there's baseball to watch."
