Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for the southeast at 5:34 a.m.

"Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring," said the statement. "Fog with significantly reduced visibility at times has developed over southern Saskatchewan early this morning."

Conditions are expected to improve later Monday morning.
