A new space has opened up at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. Called the SaskTel Be Kind Online Learning Lab, it is intended to allow the museum to host a number of school and public programming events, including adult workshops.

"The Royal Saskatchewan Museum continues to offer new, world-class experiences to its visitors, and we are excited to have SaskTel as a partner in this venture," Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Laura Ross said. "The new SaskTel Be Kind Online Learning Lab will allow the RSM to provide new and expanded educational programming - incorporating technology in a way that we were previously unable to offer to visiting classrooms."

The space will be able to accommodate up to 30 people, with a large screen that can be connected to microscopes, cameras and other digital media. Some of the adult activities the museum is hoping to use the space for include insect or bird identification workshops, or for Indigenous Knowledge Keepers.
