Estevan is gearing up to serve underprivileged children globally once again with it's annual participation in Operation Christmas Child!

People across Canada are beginning to pack shoeboxes for the national drop-off week coming up Nov.13th -19th.

Operation Christmas Child has been running here in Estevan for 30 years, 10 of which have been under Jillian Ursu's guidance.

"You can put most things in the boxes. Hygiene items, school supplies, and some of those wow items that the kids really enjoy like a stuffed animal or a soccer ball." says Ursu.

The Alliance Church in Estevan is one of nearly 300 drop-off locations in the country. You can choose to pack a shoebox for a boy or a girl, aged 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14.
